A Place Lost in Time: A Creative Commons Graphic Novel.

Adolf Navarro and Izara Masie decided to publish their first graphic novel, A Place Lost in Time under the Creative Commons license. A Place Lost in Time, chronicles the first adventure of “The Zurvan Club“, a group of adventurers who join their skills to solve an ancient mystery. While answering the riddle on an ancient Sumerian tablet, the young people also discover about themselves in the process.

Creative Commons is a movement where artists voluntarily give up some control of their creative work to foster new creativity. It is a legally recognized alternative to established copyright law that most of us live under. Under creative commons, the original artist maintains all right, but agrees to let new people come in and use some of their work for free. The general rule tends to be; you are free to use a creative commons product however you see fit for free as long as you give credit to the original artist and not sell the new work.

The first novel is completed and available now at Zurvanclub.com. Additional adventurers will be made available when they are completed. Join the ongoing adventure by friending them on Facebook.

About Joseph Furguson

This child of the 80s does not look upon it as some gold age where everything is better. He is well aware that the filter of time causes the best stuff to rise to the top. Every era has terrible and awesome things, but most are downright mediocre. He loves to highlight the forgotten good and the deserving bad items of all generations.
