Invincible 100 Has a Ton of Deaths in it

Any fan of comic books knows that deaths don’t mean much. Often, they are only used to drum up some sales, generate a little interest in the press and quickly discarded when that story is over. In Marvel comics, every character has spent a weekend in hell and most come out of the experience alive.

In the world of Invincible, however, death is something of a big deal. The power levels in the setting are purposefully high in order to have the conventions of the superhero genre without having to resort to death as a fallback position.

Robert Kirkman promises that Invincible 100 is going to be special with not one, but 5 deaths in it. Here’s hoping he’s right.

About Joseph Furguson

This child of the 80s does not look upon it as some gold age where everything is better. He is well aware that the filter of time causes the best stuff to rise to the top. Every era has terrible and awesome things, but most are downright mediocre. He loves to highlight the forgotten good and the deserving bad items of all generations.
