Michael Fassbender to Star in Assassin’s Creed Film

Should it be called Fassassin’s Creed instead?

The prolific Michael Fassbender, star of Prometheus and X-Men: First Class, has been cast to star in an upcoming Assassin’s Creed film. He’ll also be co-producing.

Sadly, that’s pretty much all we know at this point.

The role that Fassbender is going to play is unknown. Which of the many assassins from the games will be featured in the film is also unknown. There’s also no script, no director, and no release date set.

But hey, Michael Fassbender, guys!

My bet is that he’ll be playing multiple roles, as the modern day Desmond, as well as one of his assassin ancestors, either Adair or Ezio. What role do you think Fassbender will play?
