Skyfall has released a series of new posters and a banner ahead of its October release date, showing off the four main characters. Possibly though, in the most boring posters ever.
The series of posters turn our attention to Bond (Daniel Craig), Bérénice Marlohe’s female killer (who by far does the best out of the posters), Javier Bardem’s Silva, who is the villain of the film, and finally Naomie Harris as the love interest of the film, although she does shoot Bond in the trailer.
There really isn’t too much going on in the posters. All we get is the character in front of a 007 sign and, well, that’s about it. They don’t give away anything more about the film, or stand out too much.
Casino Royal and Quantum of Solace managed to produce much more interesting posters before the film launch, with some nice montages and effects, but it seems Skyfall has taken a step back from that, instead showing the no nonsense approach, something that the Craig era has focused on a lot – bringing the character down to earth.
