Attention all Teenage MUTANT (that’s right, I’m still sticking it to Michael Bay and his upcoming atrocity that is his reboot of the TMNT film franchise) Ninja Turtle fans!
If you happen to live across the pond and are planning on attending MCM Expo London later this May, then count your blessings because you will be amongst the first to get a sneak peek at the new TMNT cartoon series that has been spearheaded by Nickelodeon!
You have no idea how jealous I am of you right now!
Why am I jealous?
Because Nickelodeon has been playing anything and everything dealing with this reboot extremely close to the chest. Even Rob Paulsen (the voice of Raph in the original animated series as well as the voice of Donnie in Nickelodeon’s reboot) has been remaining close-lipped on the project and will not even go into details on his podcast, of which I am an avid listener. The only real details that have been revealed are the fact that the series will be done in CGI, as well as the voices of the fab four–Rob Paulsen as Donnie, Jason Biggs as Leo, Sean Astin as Raph, and Greg Cipes as Mikey.
The preview will take place on Saturday, May 26th at 11:30 a.m. Those who attend will not only get a peek at an exclusive clip of the series, but they will also be able to participate in a Q&A with Kevin Eastman and Rich Magallanes and they will also receive a free Teenage MUTANT Ninja Turtles item.
Simply put, this event promises to be awesome beyond awesome!
Those that would like to attend the presentation can do so by registering for a place here.
So there you have it. I am über jealous of all you TMNT fans across the pond! But despite my jealousy, I nevertheless hope that you enjoy the experience.
In fact, enjoy it double for me!
And on that note…
Nerd up!
