Diamond Select Toys are releasing the new Marvel Select figures in conjunction with the Avengers movie and to continue throughout the upcoming months.

Being a fan of the Marvel Select figure line myself, I try to keep up with when the new ones will be hitting the shelves.You can expect all the major characters from The Avengers and the secret villain from the movie will also be available. For those of you who don’t know who that is – you should go see the movie, what are you waiting for?

These figures have already begun showing up in April with the release of the Hulk figure and a re-issue of the Iron Man Mark VI suit.This month is said to bring us Hawkeye and the mystery foe I had previously mentioned.

Diamond Select Toys also has exclusive collectables for The Amazing Spider-Man including a Lizard and Spider-Man figure of course to be released in June along with a nice variety of statues and busts depicting The Lizard and Spidey.

In August we are supposed to see the release of Ultron and Storm and sometime this winter they are releasing a Nightcrawler figure which I am very excited about as he happens to be one of my favorite characters.

Also this year several box sets will be released including a “Venom Through The Ages” set slated to come out later this year. This set will be exclusive to Toys R’ Us and will feature for the first time Flash Thompson as Venom.
