Official Trailer – Transformers: Age of Extinction

TransformersSo if the teaser trailer shown during the Superbowl wasn’t cool enough, the full trailer for Transformers: Age of Extinction will have you wondering just what Michael Bay has planned for this installment of the Transformers franchise.  Although all of the movies have received a lot of negative comments fueling hatred for Bay and his vision of Transformers, you’d never know by the sales at the box office.  In spite of fan backlash, the films have seen remarkable financial success.  This go around the original cast including Shia LaBeouf, Megan Fox, Josh Duhamel, Tyrese Gibson, John Turturro and others have been replaced by Mark Wahlberg, Nicola Peltz, Stanley Tucci and Kelsey Grammer.

It has been some time since the Autobots defeated Megatron and his Decepticons in Chicago and the world has changed.  Sam Witwicky and his family have moved on with their lives.  The Autobots have gone into hiding and are being hunted down by government officials one by one.  But a new threat brings Optimus Prime and the Autobots out of exile to once again defend their adopted home.  The trailer features series regulars like Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Ratchet and one big newcomer…Grimlock!  That’s right all you Dinobot fans, we’ll finally get to see Grimlock and at least a few of the other Dinobots in this film.  In the trailer we see Optimus and Grimlock fighting each other, but at some point they must join forces due to footage of Prime riding Grimlock into battle from the Superbowl teaser.  You can get out the full trailer below and get more content from the official website.  Let us know what you think, will this film be the Transformers movie we deserve, or will it be yet another tribute to Michael Bay’s inflated ego?

Here’s something to make you feel old: Ratchet & Clank is 10 years old this year.

To celebrate, Sony and Insomniac Games have decided to bundle all three Ratchet & Clank games together and release them with remastered 1080p HD graphics, stereoscopic 3D, and a new Trophy list.

Aaaand then they released the new Ratchet & Clank Trilogy in Europe back in June.

Not to worry, Americans and Canadians! On August 28th, we’re finally getting a taste of that sweet lombax action. The Ratchet & Clank Collection (as it’s going to be called on this side of the pond) will include Ratchet & Clank, Ratchet & Clank: Going Commando, and Ratchet & Clank: Up Your Arsenal.

As a bonus for being so patient, the North American version will also include a demo for the upcoming Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time.

The Ratchet & Clank Collection will be released for PS3 in both retail stores and on the PlayStation Network August 28th, 2012, at a cost of $30 USD.
