More Guests Announced For Kapow! Comic Con

Kapow! logoMore news on Kapow! Comic Con which is taking place in London in May. Mark Millar has released further information about new guests and panels that will happen at the con. So here we go…

British Comedians, Jimmy Carr and Frankie Boyle.Carr will be interviewing Frankie about his involvement in Millar’s Clint magazine and his love of comic-books.

Boyle was supposed to go to last year’s con, but his schedule meant he had to miss out… Or so it was reported. Boyle was involved in some controversy over a joke he made. It was fairly offensive… Let’s leave it at that.

Now for the one I’m most excited about… The “An Audience with Warren Ellis” panel. Yes! Warren Ellis with be at Kapow! this year, answering your questions about his amazing career as a writer and also his future plans.

This will be AWESOME. I’m a big fan of Ellis’ work and the chance to interact with him absolutely blows my mind. He’s a legend. End of.

Bryan Hitch has also been included in this years convention. He will be talking at a panel about his collaboration with British TV host and Turf writer, Jonathan Ross, on a book called “America’s Got Powers“. That should be interesting!

So in addition to Frankie Boyle, Jimmy Carr, Warren Ellis and Bryan Hitch, here are some more guests that have been confirmed!

Olivier Coipel, Charlie Adlard, Paul Grist, Mike Carey, Glenn Fabry, Sean Phillips, Eric Stephenson, Rian Hughes, Matt Smith, Rob Williams, Simon Spurrier and the creators of “Bayou Arcana.”

Kapow Crowd

It’s shaping up to be an awesome convention, and my guess is that more guests will be announced too! Here’s the originally announced guests for those of you who haven’t seen it:

Frank Quitely, Mark Millar, Dougie Braithwaite, Paul Cornell, C.B. Cebulski, Shaky Kane, Nick Spencer, David Lloyd, Dave Gibbons, Kieron Gillen, Peter Milligan, Ian Churchill, Andy Diggle, Jock, Steve Parkhouse, Steve Yeowell, John McCrea, David Hine, Adi Granov, Simon Furman, Chris Weston, James Hodgkins and Paul Hogan.

I can’t wait for this, it’s going to be epic! As always, stay tuned for more news on Kapow! Comic Con…
